Fashion Ideas

I'm not in love with this picture, but the idea that's portrayed is lovely. I like the colors of the picture overall. It's somewhat grey, but the leaves are little bursts of color.

This looks like it was taken with hipstamatic or instagram, but apparently it's not. I like the wind in this picture. It made the field, her scarf and hair lean towards the left. I'd like to do something with wind, but instead of having the hair blow into someone's face, make it blow away.

I love the close up on this model. She's pale which matches the background and there's red on her hair and lips. I'm not sure what the powder is on her face... I had an idea of what I wanted to do, and this close up made me enhance my idea.

My Self Portraits :)

Architecture Ideas

This photo reminds me of going to Universal Studios over the summer. It has very vivid colors. The angle is just straight up. I get dizzy staring at it too long. Haha.

Same photographer, cool. I love the translucent staircase and a person's silhouette walking up the stairs. The repeating lines of the staircase make a leading line towards the left of the photo.

This picture of a Japanese temple has really nice lighting. I'm not sure if it was taken like that or if he went onto photoshop to do it, but I love the faint vignette and the blue tone to the picture. It gives the temple a really eerie feeling. Because I watch japanese dramas and anime, it's quite relevant to what temples are portrayed as.

Self Portrait Ideas

O_O I've been in this class for 4  years now. Why do I need more self portraits -_-

This photo is adorable! I like that he's "holding" a camera and he has different expressions for each of the photos. He only used one lighting source for this picture.

It's like the bill just came, and he's not happy about it. I like the idea of putting the camera inside the mailbox. I wish that red thing on the left hand side was gone though.

This photo is such an awesome idea. It's creative. I think his nose should've been blown off, too. That's okay.

Photo Sandwiches!

This assignment is photosandwiches. I've done one before. It's somewhere near the beginning of this blog.
These are some ideas I found online that look pretty cool, but they're not exactly what I was looking for because every time I tried to search "photo sandwich," I got a photo of a sandwich... Haha

This first picture is by Silke Seybold. Oh my it's another naked person. Lol uhh. I like the texture of like... cracked paint overlayed on the photo. The girl with the gas mask looks interesting as well.

This second is by Juan Diego Fonseca. It's just another overlay of a picture of a tree ontop of a picture of an eye of a cat, but the tree frames the eye very nicely.
The last is by Zoriah. I really can't tell what it is on the guy's face, but it makes his skin creepy.

Two of the three photos are from flickr, but were all searched on google. No links are added, because the pictures wouldn't upload from school so I don't have the links at home.

Famous Photos Reinvented

This week's project is Famous Photos Reinvented.
Tears- Man Ray
This is the photo that is required to reinvent.

Rose and Driftwood- Ansel Adams
I LOOOVEEEE Ansel Adams' pictures! It's all black & white and nature pictures. It's BEAUTIFUL :3
Plus this is a macro picture. I like macro pictures.

Le Violon d'Ingres- Man Ray
I believe Taylor A. Brown had recreated this photo a couple of years ago. It's pretty simple.
I hope I'm not in trouble for the naked lady....

Photos are from around the web.
The second two pictures are clickable.

Read... It's good for you :3

This week the project is words.

This picture is really cool because there's a person standing in a "standing zone"
Actions speak louder than words.

Everything's made in china, but I love that this doll had the "made in china" pressed into the plastic, rather than it being printed on.

MATH is just the language nobody understands. Haha. Although this isn't words, I like the macro and the vignette on the picture. It looks really nice.
